The College of Saint Rose is a private, independent, coeducational college in Albany, which is the seat of Albany County and the capital city of the US state of New York, as well as the central city of New York's Capital District, having a population of more than 93 500 inhabitants, estimated during the 2008 census.
The college was founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, in 1920, and it gets its name from Saint Rose of Lima.
